A few weeks back some of my family and I headed up American Fork canyon around midnight and proceeded to hike to to summit of Mtn. Timpanogos. The 8.9 (one way) hike took about 5 hours to get to the summit. There is really nothing like hiking in the dark with a headlamp and just gazing around. It is a great time to think and reflect upon life and just enjoy yourself. We reached the summit and it was freezing. I was wearing 3 shirts, a pullover, softshell jacket, and a hardshell jacket. There was nothing to do but just be cold. So we decided to make the last 30 minute trek to the actual summit and made it with just 10 minutes left before the sun came out. Speechless…. It was amazing. I think everyone needs to experience life at 12,000 feet. So here is my picture of the sunrise!

Oh wow… I am not even sure where to start on this one. Paityn is a complete doll, I honestly never thought that having a little girl would be that much different then having a boy. WRONG! Words cannot really explain it but there is just something about her, maybe it’s because she is a girl, 3 months old, or whatever but I love it. She has the most adorable personality and nothing is better then when she smiles back at me. Paityn turned 3 months a few weeks ago and we obviously had to take some photos. So here they are!!

A while back when I stopped over at my parents house in Saratoga Springs my sister, Jennifer and her family (minus husband) happened to be over there. I took the opportunity to pull them outside and photograph them for a few minutes. My brother then showed up and I snagged the last shot of him demonstrating his outstanding runway pose (after-which he was told to never do that again.) Enjoy!
